an oriental twist
Friday, May 01, 2009 .::. Bow Wow!
sigh, just came back not long ago from shopping and i think i really spent too much. i think ive never enjoyed so much with my friends since i went to this course. unexpectedly we could hang out for so long and have so much fun. oh yes, that included a "guest" who joined us - one of our sergeants. he came shortly after his interview at smu and yah, it was weird initially but the conversation we had was good.

lunch was finally at the agreed crawford lane's famous bah chor mee. yes my all-time favourite since i first tried it many many years back when i was a kid at marina square's old food court. well, if you remember where it used to be last time. anyways, the nine of us (including the sergeant) ate the mee and the western food. to my surprise, the mee maintained its standard and the western food was worth every cent with such huge serving and the chicken is so tender!

our initial plan was not followed la because we thought it wouldnt be very fun watching movie and then some of them didnt want to take the flyer, in hope to take it with someone they love. haha lame but yah, so we changed our plan and went walking around instead. actually we went to check out the movies at cineleisure and discussed for a damn long time but came out with nothing. i gave up because the movies were either too boring or someone already watched it. nvm about that or otherwise i wouldnt have enjoyed such a fruitful day. haha... my buys are very scary i think when its just within a day and its only a few items.

basically we went to most malls along orchard and thats what ive gotten:

- 2 pairs of earphone pads from club21 i shop
- 1 tee from mooks (okay this is a very good deal thats why)
- 1 mechanical pencil from kino (someone stole mine when i was at camps comp lab!)
- 1 bottle of shower gel from molton brown (super nice!)
- 1 slice of cheesecake from bakerzin (my weekly indulgence)
- meal at thaiexpress (my all-time favourite dining place)
- drink at tcc (r&r with friends)

really i dont know what ive actually spent on but the decrease in the bank account is burning a big hole itself. im helping to improve the current economic situation but i dont think im helping myself and my bank account. anyway i dont care la since the payday will come in soon. hahah.. its really been a long time since i last spent that much within a day. its scary! didnt know my friends also join in and spent like theres endless supply of cash in their account too. oh, good shopping buddies they make!

of course there were alot more things i want to buy and really wish i can buy but forget it la. i think i should wait till sometime when i think im financially ready to crazyshop again. and also i want to get the high society cds from that cd shop. they are really good man!

okay la i think i shall just stop here and update again. im tired from walking around and worrying about my bank account. i think i must save and scrimp and then think thrice before buying anything from now onwards. im crazy already. bow wow to long weekends, thank you very much!
