an oriental twist

wah, didnt expect myself to leave my blog empty for such a long time. exactly one month since i last updated and i havent been that busy actually. im just lazy to update because i thought it would be good to just spend more time doing some other things than just blog. moreover, ive lost the feeling for blogging. it used to be my habit to come online and login to my account but it seemed to have changed.

anyways, im back for some updates - things ive done recently, probably only able to account for most recent stuffs.

weekdays have been dedicated to camp. its studies, physical trainings, tests and outfield. but the good thing is, we get early rest and all unlike back in infantry days. oh well, its a privilege and so far im still fine with what im doing. hope this can help adjust myself back to studies which i hope i will get one uni in my hand by the time i end my national service.

weekends are mostly with my family, out to town for meals and shopping. well, most of the shopping are for buying stuffs back to camp such as food. i believe in stocking up as much as possible because the food in camp is horrible. i havent tasted so much chicken and curry in my life! the veges are the worst! and also, they always fry those fish fillet in batter. bloody hell, its damn unhealthy and they serve terrible fruits! okay back to topic, i enjoyed the lunch with my family (so bloated!) at east coast. the food is very good and worth the money so i really think you should go and try. its packed with people after those mass emails sent while people are working. the seafood restauant at big splash - they serve really good food!

friday was early book out at 0700hrs because we had to support our unit for a swimming meet at changi. good thing! then after that we had a team building session at yishun safra! hahaha, that was the best day ever! cant expect to enjoy so much fun with my friends! then yesterday i was out with my friends at orchard. been such a long time we had a gathering so we had a simple dinner at cineleisure. thereafter a chillout session at starbucks. it was a very short time la, partly because i was damn late and some had to leave early. though the last time we actually had a proper gathering was long ago but nonetheless, we are still as close and have so much to talk about. as they will be leaving for overseas studies coming mid this year, i guess the chances of meeting up will be even lesser. some will be leaving for switzerland and one of them to manchester. the slight drizzle did not bring our mood down la. btw, orchard is damn packed! i have not seen such crowds for a long time (besides the career and education fair at suntec when i was there shopping with my parents.

oh yes, then yesterday came about the idea between the few of us. end of this year, as two of them will be in switz studying, we are planning for a meetup there. i really hope i can make it, provided being able to apply for leave and having enough funds to put me through airfares and accommodation. can never imagine that but i hope it will turn out to be a reality. so we shall see... either zurich or geneva. wait till i see what my friends think of this two places.

booking in later and as usual, the mood is different. damn sian la of course but with the company of my friends, it isnt that bad la. still not used to going outfield, living without shower and proper sleep. alright, i should go and pack up now, then relax till god knows when. haha till then i shall update here again! have a good week ahead!

hello there. welcome!
you are now browsing through the entries where the author captures every single moment of his life. it may not be anything simple and neither will be it too extravagant. the entries are made up of his family, friends and people around. you may just be one of those who can help continue to keep this blog moving on. thank you and have a nice day.
