haha come to think of it, how long has it been since i last went for a christmas gift hunting? its eons ago, seriously. i guess the last time i actually did was a couple of years ago when i had this bunch of good friends whom we always hang out and have fun. we refrained from buying crappy stuffs for one another, but at the end of the day, they were either clothings or some food items. i remember at that time, we didnt really have proper income. the pocket money all came from our parents while we were schooling, if not the part-time earnings. it was all fun and i remember i always try to get gifts for them from overseas when im on holiday. oooh... how time flies and i bet they have forgotten all about it.
so last night we had a last minute decision which was to do a little gift exchange among the cousins. haha well the three of us. we had so little time so i hope the gifts we will be receiving will not be shitty. i really hope they get something good for me and i also hope they will like what i get for them. it was such a hurry i walked from place to place in search for the best christmas gift!
i was very late. my army friends were complaining how late i was for dinner. during the shopping, i really spend as much and as little as my bank account allows. thinking and thinking. it was damn bloody crowded everywhere! as if people from all over the world flocked down to town for shopping. from raffles city to citylink to marina square to bugis. oh man...
i finally met my friends at bugis for steamboat at around 7? i was damn late. we were supposed to meet at 430pm but i dragged and delayed. we ate and then starbucked awhile. i guess its been a long day for them cos they met much earlier than 430pm for some games. then i went to do last minute shopping at bugis junction. finally got something again! so lucky if not i got to wake up early again and travel all the way down to get the gift.
okay tomorrow im meeting up with my cousins - more delicious than patty hou, pattilicious and kwang for singing session! hahaha... then we will be doing gift exchange at the same time. quite exciting for this years christmas la as compared to previous years when we did nothing at all. alright, i got to pack up now and clear up my stuffs. seeya!
