an oriental twist

coming up next will be my fourth week at bmtc. as in the previous entry, i enjoy the free times with my bunkmates where we mock, have fun, play stupid games and shouting at one another. yes, they sing songs all the time and its always jay chou. every now and then, we drink 500ml of water and its killing me. i couldnt do it in ncc days but now, i can (most of the time) because i dont have a choice to.

exhaustion is the only word to describe at the end of each day. all i look forward will be the free time we have at night, even though we got to queue for showers, do our own laundry and prepare for the next day. time passes real fast and by the time you are done, its time to sleep. if lights are not switched off, you will hear people screaming from downstairs asking you to switch it off. good enough, fellow bunkmates will greet one another a good night sleep before everyone dozes off.

food and service at the cookhouse is bad. one word: lousy. of course i dont expect five-star or even three-star service but the lack of smile and poor response are the basics they should have. moreover they represent our dearest NTUC foodfare, known for the three ticks in the supermarket logo, huge 'U' in the new logo and the numerous food courts available islandwide. they serve none other than the twin of economic vegetable rice.

besides physical trainings, intensive ones. we have to march from point A to B and so on. i treasure the time walking down the streets and i really should because you hardly (or rather never) get the chance to do that in camp. there're just too many things which are turned into precious gems to you when you are there. experience it.

heading back to camp again tomorrow. its a quick bookout day and i wonder when can i enjoy long holidays. i'd just want to stay at home and rot all the way. lastly, i hope things will go as smoothly as possible in the coming days, weeks and months in bmtc and... i dont think far. just hope POP will come soon!

till then goodbye singapore land. hello (once again) pulau tekong. the ferry is terrible... for people who have seasickness. and i shall post my harvest from my macao trip at the venetian. its masked. a symbol of masquerade. check back soon!

hello there. welcome!
you are now browsing through the entries where the author captures every single moment of his life. it may not be anything simple and neither will be it too extravagant. the entries are made up of his family, friends and people around. you may just be one of those who can help continue to keep this blog moving on. thank you and have a nice day.
