an oriental twist
Wednesday, August 06, 2008 .::. What a wonderful world
okay im back for a bit of blogging then i will continue with my shows on youtube. i cant believe the love for the show is still burning so strong i tell myself i shouldnt miss the show on any of the days. hahaha bet it will be listed as one of the greatest achievements made so far, during my break.

yesterday was a fun but short day. was out (finally!) from the cave with my crazy friends. all the places that we planned to go didnt end up in the day's summary la. we had numerous places in mind but couldnt set our mind on a specific place. lunched at bugis and yes, it was sadly that place again. i think its all fated and we didnt enjoy the service at all! the china girl looked as if beijing will not hold the olympic games anymore. but the demanding guest in me showed up... haha ive always wanted to la because i couldnt take it anymore. as usual, we had our shit loads of jokes and all those random stuffs and mocking at the people moving around. then went to check out the mooncakes at intercontinental and bought the puffs from chewy junior. oh well, bugis was getting crowded so we decided to leave for suntec despite sujatha's plan to visit the "big tent" of which she meant bugis village. hahah yes and thanks to the weather we didnt go in the end.

the journey to suntec was so down the memory lane la. its as if doing a heritage walk or something where you see old shophouses and the duper lousy beach hotel and some cheapo hotel/motel along the way. the moment we reached suntec, we planned to go somewhere nice to chill and we ended up at starbucks suntec then who knew, there was no proper place to sit and the sofas were all taken up so we decided to go millenia walk. it was a very undecisive day la and we had no idea on exactly where we really wanted to go. anyways, we ended up at starbuck millenia but there was no place again! so we went to tcc which was pretty empty and the staff stared at us because we were still deciding. oh well, then upon seeing this group of caucasian tourists walking towards us and remembering that they were at starbucks just now, we went to get the seats. okay, they told me to run so i ran lah and it was such an auntie-mrt seat experience. oh yah, i got a call which i couldnt prompt the caller with anything while we were shopping at candy empire. heck the hotel membership i wasnt given any chance to say a word after i receive the call. hahaha, the person spoke like machine gun and was, probably, reading from a script. vouchers and complimentary stays blahblahblah. i think i got the call again today. oh my god!

shared alot of things and my thunderous laughter caught my TMS fellow trainee from ngee ann poly attention. okay lah, it was a moment of truth my friend finally know how loud i can be. after all these, we went home and the journey home which i shant say was horrendous.

today was out with my mom for lunch at orchard hotel. so nice! it was local food cos of the national day and i can say the food there was quite a variety lah. i didnt eat much but i did enjoy, especially the soft-shell crab and dao suan (yellow bean dessert served with doughstick). super nice and we left around one plus cabbing home. hahahaha.. oh the roti prata and laksa were good too! a pity there wasnt much ingredients added like prawns or fishcakes in the laksa. it was a long overdue lunch cos of the house renovation works plus i couldnt wake up early you see. but the high tea is, unfortunately, over.

alright, i think i shall end my entry now and check my mail from W hotels. i love W hotels so much i must stay there and buy their stuffs one day. whenever. whatever. one of the coolest hotels in the world. okay till then i shall update again soon but no photos at the moment.
