an oriental twist
Thursday, July 24, 2008 .::. Another Day
back from dinner with my friends. hahaha, and our bunch of good pals are left with the pathetic four. whats worse when one of our friends is leaving for a wonderful UK+Paris+Phuket trip. wow, if only i can have such extended holidays now, i will be crying for joy and not feel so bored here in... singapore. okay la, singapore is good in someway, in a way that we dont encounter natural disasters and its just total peacefulness here.

anyways, was dinnering with friends at SWENSENS again and drinks at harrys again! hahaha, its after all those high and low search for the best place to eat and enjoy. the whole of last night, i was practically going to every search engines to look for FOOD FOOD and FOOD. the plan came like this okay. i chose timbre at the arts house and there was no bloody number to ask if they serve main course. so i managed to get the number from yellowpages and called. no bloody human being pick up. and after reading all the reviews, it seemed like they serve pizzas, fries, tapas and such, so considering the fact that it wont be a proper meal and one of our friends doesnt fancy pizzas, pastas and cheese, i gave up the idea. then i remember p.s. cafe and theres one damn chi-chi and more convenient outlet at palais, i glanced through the onsite menu and it looked pretty alright. so i messaged everyone and confirmed with them the venue. then who the hell knows i found another better place at palais as well. shit the reviews cos p.s. cafe didnt look as good as it is and photography is like... not allowed? anyways, the search for the dinner went on and on until i almost gave up and yes, decided on simple and humble swensens. afterall that place serves decent food at a more reasonable price. for a simple fare like that, i wasted so much energy and resources, plus the reviews did help much in choosing the best place for gatherings.

i was finally early today and met two of them at marina square. as usual, i could enjoyed the breeze and the laughters. its quiet today and it makes a perfect day for shopping and just walking around. basically the sale is over i guess, so the prices are up and getting higher. lucky i brought with me as little cash as possible and held back my itchy hands to those clothes. a sad sight but allowing my eyes to feast on those nice clothings is enough la. i dont go out much either right? i stay at home all the time and i see my skin shedding day by day.

right now, i regretted much for not planning a freaking graduation trip. the feeling is damn shitty but cant help it since our friends left so much earlier than expected. oh well, we'll see what we can do and since our group is becoming smaller and smaller, the cost divided will become higher and higher. sigh, so broke yet so wanna enjoy. hahahaha...

987 pillowfight is damn boring! so boring and the deejay doesnt talk much besides playing repeated music. SUCKS! the other day i sent a message in and it wasnt read out at all! i think the deejay reads less than 20 messages . shit, im going to change to another station already. muttons + shan&rozz is so much better! okay i think i better go now and search for something. its time to plan for the next gathering... with lesser people. our group is shrinking... and slowly expanding and then shrinking in a few years' time...
