an oriental twist
Monday, April 07, 2008 .::. The First Week. Two Days Off.
remember my comeback at front desk? it was kinda screwed up the first few days when i did morning. it was totally blurred and i just recalled everything slowly and hoping that deity will come and save me. but thank god for one thing: the hotel is not overbooked, hence it was much easier to locate a room that meets the guest's requirements. otherwise, i think my head should be rolling on the floor now.

anyway, this week was a breeze and i can say ive slowly mastered abit here and there. still not very sure on certain things but i hope i can remember and know what to do la. plus the employee turnover is damn bad with so many leaving and a new duty manager in. its horrible i tell you, i almost told him off when i asked for his "help" the other day. oh my.

was at movies last night with my colleague. watched untraceable it was kinda like erm, saw. shorter and not so many gruesome scenes. i was hoping for more actually. haha and when i was back home, i actually went to the killwithme.com website and it really appear but theres no such scenes la. oh wells, the movie was not too bad considering that i had nachos and i could spend the night away not worrying that i have to return to work the next day. took a cab home with my duty manager. shes damn nice la, i guess everyone thinks so too.

todays my public holiday (cny day 2) and tomorrows my off day. damn the person who plans the schedule. who the hell in the world will plan something like that? moreover im applying my next off for next sunday. shiat, i think im just going to become a zombie due to work overload and stress.

was checking out concerts and i was thinking of going to the click five. till today, i still regretted not going to the showcase they had few years back when they released their first album. i think i must go to this concert, provided that someone is willing to come with me. but the thing is its free-standing which i dont like. i dont want to be squeezed and have to suffer smelling terrible odours. unless i get the 68 tickets, then probably la i can sit down and watch.

alright, i think thats all for now because theres nothing much to blog about. oh yes, that day when i was in the train, this old aunty was chatting so loudly away on her mobile. it consisted some sex & prostitute stuffs and she was telling her friend about it. gross. she missed her orchard stop and stared at me, "orchard over already ah?!" i looked at her and turned away. shit her la, save these adventures to yourself okay!
