after much anticipation and wait, i finally got hold of the cd i have been searching high and low for. Taro Hakase's "Traveling Notes" is in my hands now. haha, the credits must go to the ANA (All Nippon Airways) staff whom I have been contacting ever since my trip from hokkaido last june. the cd is indeed filled with violin masterpieces. but of course it did cost me quite a few bucks more expensive because it was flown in all the way from japan. anyway, it saved me alot of trouble because i have been calling up music stores asking for the cd. =)

its my off day for today and sunday. so happy because i can relax and enjoy my last moment during weekends. im starting shift work from monday onwards, sadly. but i can say im quite looking forward to working with the people there. i miss some of the people at front desk, and most of them at reservations too. oh, did i mention this is my last week there after two months? sheez, yes im making a comeback at front desk from next week onwards and i seriously pray no shit happens again. i dread encountering shit stuffs and have to handle it when im still pretty handicapped. i hope everything goes well and i hope this return from reservations make me more confident than before. another thing will be the schedule. i hope la, it can be like before also. the schedule is kinda screwed nowadays i guess with the lack of manpower. even duty managers have to d.i.y. sigh.

but before all these, i should make the best out of the two off days i get now. so this morning was the "qing ming jie" thing. i forgot the name for it in english but oh wells. was at bishan at 10 plus and it was damn crowded as usual. the place was smoky and super hot, but better la cos we picked a cool spot. anyway, its once in a year so i shant rant or anything. its nice to be there and to do the praying and offerings and stuff. then lunch was at my long-awaited japanese restaurant at thomson. oh my, i think i have not eaten it for years ever since they closed down at orchardpoint (if you can remember that is, orchardpoint is now the OG building at orchard). i have been wanting to go there for the great food and thank god today, i managed to. the price did went up quite a bit but overall, the standards still the same and it was enjoyable. sashimi was superb! thereafter was home.

the new tv came this afternoon. haha the old set has now retired and totally antique. i didnt have a flat-screen tv like most of you have. mine was the tv with the super-in-at-that-time tv with the speakers on the sides of the screen. anyway, it has now retired and we welcome the new giant television. super cool la, i love the tv and the image is damn big. now i pretend im in the cinemas now, watching my tv shows. i will post up the pictures when i take them. its a huge difference la. hahahaha, we are not used to it still.

later in the afternoon was out with my lunch buddy. haha surprisingly though because usually i wont be out to town during my off days. anyway, we had a plan since yesterday during the meeting and it was all set so we met for a little while. we just walked aimlessly and had dinner at spags. the place was damn cold la. we tried our best to speak properly but it still trembled. anyway, it was great company. i was late for 45-minutes, bad bad bad. i felt damn bad but luckily he is kind enough otherwise i would have been killed by now. i was blabbing a lot of rubbish and nonsense to my friend. it just come so naturally. i also had a hard time deciding on the place for dinner and... aiya i just cant make up my mind for such things because i consider too much. haha...

tomorrows my last weekend off, i suppose and i better pray hard my schedule is something good. i miss reservations quite abit now but i know ive grown fatter? i dont know because i eat tau huay, pancakes, snicker bars, biscuits and drink milk almost everyday. its very scary la. i should prepare myself for front desk by going through the notes again. i should start packing my file and be prepared to bitch even more (i know i should stop this already but reservations made me continue). all im looking forward to front desk is working with the people and ensuring that learn most of the things. im still blur and will always be blur la, i know. lastly, all the best to me k. i will blog about it when im free again. till then see you and have a great weekend!
