after my post on wednesday, i went to bed straight away thinking of the exciting night coming. so i was all prepared to dress up (better than usual) and happily waiting for the time to come. as you know when it comes to a day when you can go and hang out with your friends, the feeling is absolutely good. :D the day went like this...
i was doing 11-7 shift that very day and as usual i would head to the front office for some chats. i always do that because im usually early by, lets say 10 to 15 minutes. thereafter i tried finishing my work as soon as 12noon so that i will be punctual for lunch. thank god my lunch buddy and i managed to meet on time and i suggested to go crystal jade since that was the last day we'll be having lunch and yeah, we had a bet la plus it was my turn to think of where to go. we didnt want fast food cos hes scared of growing fatter and im scared of pimples. anyway, we settled for, you know where? food republic. hahaha, by the way the hokkien mee is not nice anymore. the food there is kinda pricy but its okay la for like once in awhile. oh wells. while eating i prayed it wouldnt rain otherwise we cant return to the hotel. its not sheltered along the way hence...
after lunch went back to work. oh yes and on that very morning i received a message from my bestest cousin, charmaine lee shi min, telling me that she cant make it for dinner. what the hell but i was totally prepared - mentally la. it happened cos her mom's/my aunt's sick. so it was cancelled without further details. aiya, cancelled means cancelled so theres no other reasons to it. we can always meet up some day. okay, so i went back to work and again, tried finishing everything asap so that i can make it for another thing at night - yes this is the thing i want to say la.
i did everything as slow as i can because at that point of time, i really didnt know what to do. i changed into my attire and went to take a bus. thanks to my lunch buddy for checking out the bus numbers for me. hahaha, i forced him to la actually cos he really had nothing to do at the business centre what. anyway, i strolled and took the bus to great world city. along the way, it reminded me of some stuffs. like how we, as in myself, erica and maine, cabbed down to zouk and something happening occured in the taxi. its history, the past i dont wanna mention la but its funny. okay, i alighted at the wrong bus-stop and pretended im going home la. it was an embarassing moment and i must remember so that the next time when i am told to write an essay about "Your Most Embarassing Moment in Your Life", i can include that. anyway, i strolled and called up my friend to ask if he had reached. sadly, he just woke up from his nap. it was okay la as in im used to people being late (for awhile) and stuff. went over to great world city and the idea of visiting iwannagohome struck me. so i went and window-shopped la. the things there are overly-priced but damn nice. if only i can afford i will buy almost everything. very cool but one bad thing about the place is that you will see this phrase everywhere - "feel free to ask for assistance. once broken considered sold". please la i dont even think the people will want to even touch it. at most they will just go nearer the item and have a clearer look. but all in all, the things there are very nice and i like them ALL.
after that i had no more place to go while waiting for my friend to call me. so i walked round and round and settled down on a bench. that report thing came ringing and i started to jot them down in point form. i wrote as much as i could and at the same time, anticipating for the call. then it came in about 30-40 minutes' time. my friend and his friends were there already. on the way, i called up my classmate to ask if we want to meet up next week and it went on and on.
yes, i went partying at zouk. haha, it was a comeback la for sure. its been a really long time since i last went there. hahaha, i remember sneaking in with charmaine and friends. it was successful la, damn heng. anyway, the night was with my lunch buddy and his friends. they bought their tickets, i stored my bag and went to get my free entry for citibank. damn cool, it helped save my poor bank account. went back to great world for dinner and then i was pretty stressed la. i dont know his friends at all and it was kinda weird. but good thing they are all really nice people otherwise i would have gone home halfway. :) waited for the time to pass awhile and went back to zouk. it was super crowded i swear. ladies night and wahlau...
the party went on... and again i was told to dance (hahahaha, i cant dance for nuts because i cant move to the rhythm!) the group of them encouraged and showed me how to. haha, super paiseh and yah, i shant elaborate cos i know i should let loose and heck it. i did (move a little) in the end and tried as much as possible but was pretty tiring. they are hell good at dancing i swear! haha, i guess its because i didnt have enough sleep or im just PAISEH (<-- must be this one). couldnt take in much alcohol cos i was afraid i might get swollen eyes again. was at phuture and zouk, very very happening la it was. good music and so on. i even forgot the time until my lunch buddy asked if i wanted to go home. haha, i intended to leave at like 1 or 2 but in the end i left at around 230. horrible as i had fun, honestly! was sent off and cabbed home. the fare came nearly 30bucks! shiat super expensive but i think its alright at least cos i spent like zero dollars for admitting the club, except paying my friend for my share of the drinks. he didnt want to take it but once again, i forced him to. hahaha... btw it was a great company with them. haha... i closed my eyes on the way home and peeked awhile incase the uncle drive me to somewhere else. forest? jungle? sekali only right, later he kidnap or rape me how? i wont even know lor cos i'll be sleeping like a dead log. :(
reached home, quickly showered and packed my stuffs. went to bed and lights off before 4. luckily i could wake up on time and didnt feel any sleepiness throughout the day. just a little migraine in the early morning and it was off awhile later.
todays easter and Happy Easter to all my Christian friends! i dont really know what is the purpose because all i remember was when i was young, i had to paint the egg shells as colourful as possible. i must outstand the others what. hahaha, anyway, it was a great week to start and end with. tomorrows another day for me 9-5 and hope everything will be going fine. the part two of this topic will be updated sometime at the end of this month so remember to check back again. till then i will update again as soon as im free! have a great weekend everyone!
