HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF!
Hahaha, thanks to those who sent me messages, called me and wished me. Although I didn't want this day to come so quickly, but it just did. Growing a year older is very scary indeed. I thought I just celebrated my birthday not long ago and here comes another year. Birthday wishes, Xmas wishes and NY resolutions. I have my birthday wish but not the other two yet. But for whatever it is, just pray hard everyday will be smooth-sailing for me and my family.
Okay, my second birthday meal with my family was at OCC yesterday. (I had one already the other week, it was lunch, now dinner). We had a taste of their Penang food, and its pretty good. More variety than that of York Hotel. It was just small bowls and plates but we had our fill and went off bloated. My sister bought me a super nice cake from Awfully Chocolate. Hahaha, my favourite la and she got me a eau de toilette - Unforgivable.
So I spent my birthday this year doing my attachment. It was horrible! The front desk was jam packed with guests (checking in, out, enquiries, collecting keycards, exchanging money etc.) I almost fainted right there and felt like running away from this reality. I swear this hotel I'm attached to is super busy and the busiest hotel in Singapore. We have over a thousand rooms and suites and everyday we have high occupancy. It's total madness, seeing that ten counters serving a thousand rooms, and if we estimate that each room has two guests, we will have to deal with two thousand over guests every now and then. Plus the ever-prosperous function rooms, we have functions filling up all the ten over function spaces everyday. Ahhhhhh, its a damn good learning experience man. It's true! I guess I will learn more than anyone else. Hhahaha, that live Christmas tree at the lobby sends out this aroma so beautiful and soothing.
Anyway, I will be going for my holiday this coming week. So happy that I can go for holiday again! Haha, no Hong Kong la, its Kuala Lumpur. Been a long time so maybe this time it can refresh my memory of that hot city. The weather is very hot there because you don't see proper trees being planted along the streets. Oh well, they have tons of trees on the mountains but none on the ground. I'll upload the photos when I'm back. I will be away from Thursday to Sunday next week.
This weekend is my cousin's wedding. Kinda excited because attending such functions can make my family bond even more, thus the closeness, unity, and love. Hahaha, okay whatever but I love meeting my family members and having fun with them. Plus I can visit my friends at the hotel too! They'll be working so another chance to catch up with them.
Then comes my family annual Christmas dinner on 23 Dec. Photos will be uploaded also.
Alright, I'll update often so that I won't neglect my devoted and loyal readers. Hahha, maybe I used to have them but now? None la. This is just to keep track of my life and the things around me.
