Right now, I'm at Front Office which is the last phase of my one-year attachment. FO will last me till July next year and until now, I'm enjoying myself pretty much. I just dread checking in guests with tons of requests and when the hotel is overbooked. It suck totally! But then again, I feel that I'm happier here and I don't feel so "sian" every single day. Perhaps thats the feeling of just starting out in this department. :D
So December is here again, time flies like nobody's business. I mean seriously because everything just pass by, with some still blurred in my memory. Sigh, I really don't wish to grow a year older because it will mean more responsibilities and I will have to face up to the real society - which is what I'm doing right now with my internship. Yes, alot of kind people and alot of bad people. Hahaha, yes bad people are those who order you around, insult you and backstab. I have not gotten the last one and even if I got it, I won't know right?
My birthday's coming in six days' time and I have no idea of what to do. I already had my celebration with my family at Shangri-La last Sunday and I enjoyed it very much. When my parents and my sister asked me what I want for my birthday, I couldn't answer them because I have no idea what I want and need. Hahaha, everything is there and right now, I don't need anything yet. Charmaine, please buy me food for my birthday okay! If I accidentally get an off-day on my birthday, then we shall have that childhood Japanese food.
Christmas is coming up too and everyday I see the decorations and lights at Orchard. Looks magical and near to those in countries with four seasons. My hotel got a real and huge Christmas tree at the lobby and it smells damn good! I went near the tree and smelled it, its damn good la. I know its crazy but the smell is so refreshing.
Okay, I ended my four midnight shifts and almost died the first night. My body was aching like hell. Sigh, symptoms of growing old. And now, I'm trying to adjust my sleeping time. Oh man.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that on the first day of my FO, I was asked to help at the 13th Asean Summit at Shangri-La. It was super fun and nice! Got to know a few more people from the other hotels - which are Conrad, Ritz-Carlton and Royal Plaza, as well as people from MFA. They are really nice and all we had to do was to go on stage infront of so many media from around the world, and to assist the VIPs who were the leaders (such as Prime Ministers, Presidents and Sultan) of the Asean countries. This opportunity is hard to come by, so I'm glad I was asked to go by my FO manager at the very last minute. And I was there three days straight and only went back to my hotel to get my uniform changed.
Here are the photos:

Till then, see you soon!
