Hello everyone! I've been so busy ever since attachment started. I feel so exhausted and sleeps whenever I'm back home. I always take the opportunity to close my eyes and rest on my way home. It's so tiring that I don't eat much at the staff cafeteria. SUPER TIRING and BUSY that I have no time to even reply to messages, and worse I forget guests' requests a couple of times.
So... I will be leaving Chatterbox this Sunday, something I should feel happy about I guess. The place that made me know how busy a coffeehouse can get, probably the busiest restaurant in Orchard hotels. I see laksa, kway teow, nasi lemak/goreng and the all-time Mandarin Chicken Rice everyday and night. Hahhaha, nothing so special about it anymore la. I feel so immuned to all these once-thought gourmet food. Haha, pay 20 over dollars for local delights, will you?
Next week starts the damn banquet department life. Shit, I hate that so much because it will be so busy, but definitely not as much as Chatterbox. Hopefully the people there are as nice as those in Chatterbox, even though some sucked to the core big time. :(( Trainees get bullied ALL THE TIME, don't they? This stupid person tried to blame me for spoiling the god-damn coffee machine when I didn't even touch it. Goodness, this is how some people work there, very annoying. And it happened just because I'm at the station and I'm a TRAINEE.
I have yet started doing my report, of which, I don't know what to write. Everyday we do the same thing, not as if we learn simply nothing, but its all the same. It just repeats over and over again. How much can I apply right? Aiya, first department so I guess they will be more to come.
Went down to Marriott to buy my cheesecake as well as dropping by to see if my friends are working there. And I saw one of them. Good to know that they are doing fine and yes, Marriott is a GOOD place to work at, I mean S E R I O U S L Y. And a piece of good news would be my previous manager at Marriott was promoted to become the Director of Restaurants! A position that was left untouched for quite a long time. Hahaha, her hard work pays off la. I mean she works so much until she can go on her annual leave for a month plus? Haha, exaggerating but it is. Anyway, the mooncake promotion will start on 24 August according to her, so yes I am going to chiong there soon before the mooncakes are grabbed by all the others. Not chiong la, but the mooncakes there sell like hot cakes.
Working 6pm to 2am later. Pretty nice shift because you don't work as much as you usually do and seeing Orchard at night is much more beautiful than seeing it during the day. So tranquil.... People are just crazy and I think they earn a few millions a month. They come and order as if they just came out from the rocks. It's insane, I wouldn't pay so much for a laksa or kway teow.
Oh yes, Monday came the Thai Princess. She's young and I got a glance of her. So many people she brought with her, it took more than half of the restaurant. Nothing so specialy actually. Then the other day came the Taiwanese variety show artiste with their child, Li Yong Xian and Ai Li Ke Si. And the other day I saw the Singapore badminton player, Ronald Susilo. His engagement ring, very dazzling and sparkles. Haha
Went to Canele to get some cakes because I haven't had their cakes for a really long time. I spent a total of 19 odd on three cakes, pretty much the normal price but its worth it.
Okay, I'm tired already and I know this is quite a random entry but please bear with it. I don't know what to type. Sigh, it starts again tomorrow. Oh man....
