Okay-dokay, this is an update on the highly anticipated wedding dinner I've wanted to attend. It was really a grand and glamourous night, everyone dressed up to the nines. It was at the Grand Ballroom of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore which started at 7 plus with cocktail reception. But before that, the preparations were hectic, to us maybe not so but to the adults, its OHMYGAWD.
The final preparations took a few days to finish and we all gathered at my aunt's house. We had dinner, played with the dog, watched TV, chat and etc. It was boring and tiring la. Only until the early morning of the wedding day, I woke up at 7am with my family to get to aunt's house to prepare for the afternoon. Damn tiring but fun! Set up our own buffet spread and everything, it was perfect I can say. Alot of people started to come in and settle down. Few hours later, the bride and groom came back gracefully in the groom's/my cousin's Mercedes Benz SL 350. The car is super dashing. Then in the afternoon, we left home to get ourselves prepared for the night.
Was there early to gather with the rest at the hotel suite. The suite is luxurious, 2-levels and huge. Living area, study, dining and the room is on the second level. There's even a balcony that overlooks the Marina Bay. After that, we went downstairs while the bride does her make-up by a make-up artist and the groom gets dressed. And that's when the photo galore starts... at the hotel lobby.
The food served was individually plated in 10-courses and prepared by Jade (a Chinese restaurant in the hotel by Tung Lok Group). The service was excellent I can say and the food was, well, not as good as I expected it to be but am still satisfied. Oh yes, we really mingled around with one another at the cocktail reception. Hahaha, it was a really fun night! Happy Marriage, my cousin!
