Today is Thursday and it's just one day away from the weekend! So happy but there are quite a number of things to do and this week, I don't think I can save some money. I spent so much on Wednesday during lunch with Herman, Val, Sha and Mary Ann. Oh yes, I tried out this game at the arcade with Herman. It's controlling a fighter jet and you have to, obviously, kill your enemies. HOWEVER, not until the start of the third round, before seeing any enemies flying around in front of me, I crashed into the mountain and game over. Hahaha, it was damn embarrassing and funny. The machine goes to "the left to the left, to the right to the right", making it feel real when playing the game. Anyways, we had 3 hours of break time.
Oh yes before that on Tuesday, I went to get my project stuff. My friend lost a pair of Birkenstock in school. Alamak, must be those cheapskate who have stolen used slippers. All the other days, I don't really remember what happened because I was super tired, I can't really concentrate in class but managed to catch what the teachers said. Well, roughly.
Then today, we ordered 4 pizzas for 9 people and damn full. The lunch was, well, I can say above my budget this week but it can satisfy my stomach for the whole day. Canadian Pizza's standard has dropped tremendously la. The pizzas don't taste as nice as before.
My friends will be working tomorrow at Sentosa and getting paid 10 bucks per hour from 6pm to 2am. It's the opening party for Cafe del Mar. Hahaha, I told Charmaine if she wanted to go there because I received the invitation, but so sad, she can't so most probably if time and energy permits, my sister will go with me. But the thing we worry is transportation. I guess Cafe del Mar is a nice place to dine and hangout in future, but its at freaking SENTOSA, so far from my place!
Okay, tomorrow will be a short day for me and hopefully I will be going to the new IKEA and buy stuff, eat the Swedish Meatballs (my favourite). Then hopefully, my sis will go Cafe del Mar. And for now, it's time for me to go to bed soon and continue my life in SHATEC, the wonderful hospitality school in Singapore. Oh well, it's internationally recognised and famous. Planning to go CHA CHA CHA with my friends soon to taste the wonder of Mexican food, then with Charmaine to taste the traditional 'xiao long bao' at our cousin's place in Bugis and then... I am planning for more such as my Marche.
By the way, if you are looking for CNY goodies from hotels, I recommend you to try out Singapore Marriott Hotel! They will start operations from tomorrow onwards (Friday, 19 Jan 2007) at the hotel's forecourt stall (located beside hotel's entrance).
