an oriental twist
Sunday, December 17, 2006 .::.
Okay I promised to be back for an entry on my holiday trip and what I've been up to recently. Well, it's been good and tiring at the same time because I left for Hong Kong after my exams, woke up early during the trip so that I could shop and explore all day long and when I'm back, I had to go to my late-grandmother's event. Pretty fruitful in the way that I've managed to go the all the places planned in the itinerary planned by my sister and I, gathered with my relatives and cousins and the bond seems to be getting stronger every time we meet. That's a good sign isn't it? Heh, it was all a wonderful start of the holidays. :))

Before I let the photos do all the talkings and such, I think I have to elaborate on some of the things right? Like going to where and bought what from the holidays. I hope those who have gotten the things I bought from HK love them. Famous wife-biscuit, Xu Liu Shan dessert cutleries, Kee Wah food items and this very special Levi's chocolates from the Levi's Concept Store. This time round in Hong Kong, we ate a lot of things from eateries, roadside-eateries, restaurants to seafood restaurants, desserts from the all-time-favourite Xu Liu Shan, egg-tarts from Saint Honore and so on. Its damn good la. Bought a pair of shoes for myself which is so much cheaper than here in Singapore, Fred Perry tee from my hotel's shopping arcade and a sweater from Giordano's outlet. I tell you there's this huge mall that has all factory outlets selling the cheapest and most reasonable Adidas, Nike, Giordano, Esprit, Laura Ashley and etc items.

We went to most of the malls there from normal malls to super high-ended ones. Legs aching like hell but that didn't stop us from continuing. There are some must-go malls that you must shop or walk around. Didn't go to Disneyland this year and neither did I revisit the new Ocean Park. The attractions I went was the Ngong Ping 360 skyrail, Victoria Peak and the Madame Tussards Wax Museum. I think that was about it. It was really fun taking photo, posing beside the wax statues, viewing the day scenery of Hong Kong's skyline and being suspended in the air as high as a mountain-sea level.

And not forgetting the most delicious food as I've mentioned. Those places were superb and serves incredibly good food! That's one of the reasons why I love Hong Kong.

So here I present to you the photos for this wonderful trip!
