an oriental twist

Sigh, I think I've overspent last week. My UOB savings dropped like nobody's business and I have been relying too much on it because sometimes I can enjoy discounts and offers for shopping and dining. And that made me spend too much and when I finally deposited some money there, I was shocked. It's less than digits it used to be stated on the receipt. Oh man, thanks to all those good food, good clothes and good discounts. :(((

Anyways, spending money means getting something back in return. I didn't really regret spending that much because those stuff are pretty useful such as clothes that can last me for a while, shoes that can walk me up the mountains and down under the waters, eat till I choke and relax while watching a horror movie. Guess that's what I have been spending on, from what I can vividly remember and for the next few weeks, I think I will be spending even more. Shit, I should start saving every single cent and get a part-time job during the long holidays.

What I can recall now is Friday when I went Sakae Sushi-ing with Charmaine and Bom. The last time I was there was about I think 2 years back when I was in Secondary 4. Heh, ate quite abit but couldn't break the record of sixty plates Bom and Sze Wei had. Chatting and laughing while eating didn't make us choke though. :))) It was really nice to eat and talk at the same time. This bloody trainee wanted to charge us for a sushi that was dropped accidentally into the soup bowl. Like what the hell right? Bloody fool, you should thank god and kowtow that I didn't make a complain.

Saturday was spent at home, watching the thickness of the haze that hit 150 over? My throat doesn't feel well this couple of days. Can Indonesia please stop burning the forest? It's not just about harming the health of all the other people in the neighbouring countries, but also destroying the nature and the homes to those wild animals. How cruel can that be. Grrr, talking about haze, it's machiam a winter-look-alike now during the evenings in Singapore just that the weather is hot. Foggy, hazy whatever you say it. I hate the weather now, can the clouds turn heavy and start pouring?

Yesterday was out to second uncle's house for his grandson = my nephew, Malcolm's 1 year old birthday. He's damn cute la. At first I thought he was quite difficult to handle with, but in fact he is so nice to be with. The way he walks, speaking those baby languages and letting people carry and bringing him around, he's adorable. When he put his head on your shoulders while carrying him, its so comfortable like a cushion. Hahaha, all in all, he's really cute and smart looking. Everybody loves him. :D

This week will start getting myself busy with projects and schoolwork. Well, not so much for schoolwork but I guess they are starting to come in one by one. Projects meetings are placed permanently on every Tuesdays and Fridays then weekends, usually have plans with family and friends. Okay, actually I'm not as busy as what I think I am going to be. I just think too much and assume that I have loads of things to do.

Quite looking forward to tomorrow's S2006 Appreciation Event at VivoCity's Sky Park. Hope it will be something fun and not boring. There will be a surprise performance by a local artiste and so on. Will update here again when I'm back from the event tomorrow. Alright, I shall go charge my camera's battery and watch TV again. More food coming our day for the next few weeks, as we've promised.
