an oriental twist

Needless to say, I met up with Charmaine and Bom for a movie date at VivoCity today. Charmaine never fails to be late whenever I meet her at the train station. The train I took was so nice and I've got a seat, until I didn't see her boarding, I had to alight at the next stop. If she's not my cousin, I would've slapped her for being late! I'm mean to everyone.

Bom couldn't meet up with us that early due to work, so Charmaine and I went to collect our booked tickets first and headed to the hawker centre nearby for her lunch. Aiya, VivoCity has many people, but there's no food. We went to the foodcourts which are seen as 'Open' but it ended up with stall owners discussing the project with contractors. Bloody fool, they should have closed off the area and yah, the workers at the entrance still let people in. Then we walked around at Vivo, some shops have already opened for business, some have already put in place everything nicely for opening, but have yet to open for business, some are still under renovation while the rest are unknown. The mall is huge and there are brands that you first find in Singapore such as Ted Baker, Pull & Bear, Naf Naf and so on. Went to Topshop/Topman and almost bought this unique tee, but because of certain reasons which I do not wish to disclose, we went off empty-handed until, we went into Pull & Bear. The clothings there are all imported, the clothings there are much similar to Topshop, Topman, A&F, American Eagles, and the stuffs there are of affordable prices. We went to try out a few that we picked and bought them. It's comfy, pretty good and its much similar to Zara as in the price tag lah. Haha, I was in a shopping mood too and Charmaine got influenced by me. We were there for about 40 minutes trying out and our movie was at 6.45pm. We rushed and tried finding a right location to call Bom because there was no bloody reception. She was late but we managed to catch "Stay Alive" on time. The movie is good, 4-star rating for it out of 5. I wonder who will want to play the game. It's scary.

Went for a round of window-shopping together with Bom this time. Pretty fun to hang around with her and her nonsense. Took photos and went to the Sky Park to look around. The view is good and yah, we are planning to be back there when more shops open. Well well, we shall see again ok? I'm so broke after today and we are going for food this time round. Goodness. :((((

Now what we have planned ahead are... *drum rolls*

- Dim Sum Buffet (proudly recommended by Charmaine) this Saturday
- KTV Session
- Hitting town this Friday (Charmaine wants it)
- Lunch at Swissotel Merchant Court next next weekend
- Sushi Buffet at Genki Sushi next weekend

Oh oh, now I know why my money flows so fast. I spend so much on nice and good food and never regret it. Unless I get a really lousy food which I didn't expect to. Tsk tsk, my parents will kill me if they see this! Laters.
