an oriental twist

English is such a sickening lesson now. I begin to dislike language lesson for the the first time. This teacher is really terrible, the way she speaks is like trying to slang and I really wonder what she is up to. She talks about her life and all, which I seriously can't be bothered with and what's worse, she can't even capture the attention of the students during her lesson. The lethargy just comes to you naturally when she starts her lesson. What the hell man, I used to enjoy language lessons so much and now she made me hate it. Grrrrh...

Lesson ended on time today and had a quick discussion with my group members on the project. It didn't progress as expected but we hope it will be completed on time. It may seem little stuff to prepare and do, but when it comes to the day before submission, you will never get to sleep before 2am. Anyway back to today after school, I tried as quickly as possible to collect the cake for my Dad's birthday. I wanted to pee and shit so much I almost had them out while waiting for the NEL train at Outram. Then at Clarke Quay, the toilet is like super far and the direction I'm heading to is opposite that of the washrooms. And one thing, I doubt they have taxi-stands at Clarke Quay station, I had to hail for a cab at Swissotel Merchant Court. What the heck, and the way to the hotel lobby is like walking to Raffles Hotel's lobby from the North Bridge entrance. Tsk. And the more I walk and the more I feel kan chiong, the more my pee and shit want to come out. So I had no choice, but to clear my bladder and shit before taking the cab. Then this bloody Mercedes cab didn't want to take any passengers, so while waiting, I started chatting with the doorman (which is the uncle). He's so nice, he waved at me when I was leaving the hotel. Reached Robertson Walk and collected the cake, then again I took a cab to Somerset station to return back home. The two trips rounded to $6.20, so its pretty okay.

Meeting Charmaine and Bom for movie at VivoCity tomorrow. Time to spend money again but I guess its pretty cheap for movie tickets to be priced at 7 bucks on weekdays compared to $9.50 during Fridays and weekends.

The school received an invitation from the Singapore 2006 committee to this Volunteer Appreciation Event coming next Tuesday at VivoCity. Hoho, so exciting. Hope it will be fun la, provided we manage to get our names to the person-in-charge.

A couple of days ago, I received an email from Louis Vuitton. This limited edition series is pretty cool with a bellboy, much similar to the current 'Cherry' series. Its quite nice. Check it out, its Monogram Groom. The bellboy is nice lah, not the two coloured stripes.

*Photos for Zoo Trip and my Dad's unique birthday cake will be up soon
