an oriental twist
Sunday, October 01, 2006 .::.
Been some time since I last updated and I think I should fill up the empty spaces here. I've been rather lazy to update and sometimes I just run out of ideas the moment I come to this page. The ideas, the things I plan to write just go missing all of a sudden. And having this blog for more than two years, I've only achieved 490 over entries. Sigh, the sudden drop in entries seems like economy crisis.

Anyways, school has already started for a week after the IMF and I just have to bear with the things I encounter in school. The people there became aliens, I totally hate the school environment because it suck. The timetable, the subjects and almost everything make people don't feel like going to school. Gotten back my results from previous terms and I passed the papers. I thought I couldn't make it and my heartbeat accelerates as if I'm going to die soon.

Oh well, let's start the entry with Friday which is like more lively. Met up with my old-classmate from current school for lunch. It was planned to be a once-in-a-month gathering, but due to IMF we had to push it back a little. Had a really nice lunch at Marina Square's Waraku Japanese Restaurant. Tell you, the place is nice as in traditional Japanese restaurant, the food is good and the deal with UOB is good too! Haha, I ate quite a lot even though I had the Nabe set. Fresh salmon and softshell crab rolls. :)))) Caught up a little and thought of watching John Tucker Must Die but we didn't because its supposed to be a gathering which means we must talk. So the other friend of ours suggested having a game of bowling, cos we just happen to walk pass while going to check out the movie times. It was pretty embarassing. We wore the shoes and looked as if we are from China, we had no standard and just dump the ball and let it roll. However, we each had a strike I think. It was damn funny. After that, had a craving for dessert so we went all the way to Canele for some sweet bites. The cakes are like precious artpieces. We indulged and again, talked and laughed. It was a good gathering though.

And Saturday was spent at home rotting away.

Sunday, went for Lee Hom's autograph session at J8. I went there primarily because I have a pair of his concert tickets and a Sony Ericsson phone which I can redeem for huge posters and get it autographed and to see him in real person. He's dashing, charming, handsome, like very talented. He's my idol. Hahaha, it was not a very long wait and he was only here in Singapore for six hours and had to fly to HK, I think, to continue some fliming. Okay, the next time I see him will be on 21st this month for his concert with my sis. Heh, we will enjoy ourselves. Oh yes, three lucky winners won themselves Sony Ericsson phones simply by smsing the question and answering the titles for the songs!

And Charmaine gave me a disappointing news today which upset me for the minute. Marriott sold out all the mooncakes, but they promised it will be till 6th October! What the hell, I was happily waiting to get my Snowskin Strawberry Yoghurt and my parents' baked mooncakes. Tsk, how can they do that man. I just went on Wednesday to check out and now this happens. But thanks to my friend working there who will give me her order, still I can't eat my snowskin mooncake. Sigh, I was hoping to share some with my friends too. Charmaine's durian mooncake was *poof* all grabbed by people. So she got hers at Goodwood Park. Hahaha, this year it's her turn to show support there, taking over my place. The skin is pretty thick and the mooncake is huge lah. Now you tell me anything about mooncakes, I will kill people. Moreover I've even planned with Charmaine to get them together this coming Tuesday. Last year we even got 3 boxes of mooncakes after rushing from DFS Scotts at the closing hours. Tsk, next year lah. :((((

I'm so broke this few weeks after IMF and I wonder why. Somemore my friends and I are planning to go for hightea at a hotel which we haven't decide yet. I want to go to Oriental! G.Hyatt! Fullerton! So many! And I want to have dimsum and am waiting for one of my other friend to give me a reply. Kanasai (Looks like Kansai), anyways, I won't go back to RCMS for hightea because they bluffed me and Charmaine!

Shall post the photos up for Lee Hom's autograph session. Laters
