an oriental twist

If you heeded the advice to play the video I posted and listen to the music, I guess you will love it. Haha, I hope the videos I will be posting up (in the future) will be enjoyed by you.

Anyways, here's a start to this entry. I accomplished a little here and there for the weekend. Friday was slacking at home, I think. Then Saturday was spent sleeping half the day away and then my sis gave us a treat to Cafe Cartel at Marina Square for mom's birthday. The dinner plan was supposed to be at Grand Copthorne Waterfront, Oriental or at Swissotel Merchant Court, but mom and dad said that they don't want my sis to spend too much because by adding up 4 pax dining for dinner buffet, it will sum up to some 220 bucks. So, the plan was changed. And then we shopped around, Zara was in a mess (especially the ladies' where they display shoes), Topshop was having a "Up to 70% Reduction" and this time they are not lying. I bought a belt and my sis got a cab for her zoo trip with her friends. All added up, it was surprisingly 43 bucks for 2 items. So it's pretty much reasonable for stuffs at Topshop/Topman. Bought my all-time favourite curry puffs from there, its superb.

Sunday was spent, again, at home sleeping half the day away. Then I watched TV and dad came to fetch me to Grandma's house to meet my mom. They were folding the incense paper which is like never ending cos its a lot. Had dinner nearby and home sweet home.

And today was the best Monday ever. One lesson was cancelled so we left school at 4 plus. Lunch was about 2 hours long, and I had fried stuff again! Tsk, it continued and ended with Front Office. It was quite a long? Short day? Whichever. I just pray everyday in school will end quickly, especially FO lessons.

Charmaine (XP): Good Luck for your exams this coming Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Study hard and don't keep going out with your boyfriend already lah. Eat non-stop whenever you are with him. After that we shall buy the mooncakes from Marriott together and have a nice meal ok? Your treat. Hahaha

Ty: Good Luck for your A's prelims this week till it ends, study hard and do your best. Catch up with you soon!

Erica / Selene: Meet up soon for some lunch or dinner. Good Luck for your papers, if you are still having exams.

Pat: Don't know if you will be reading this, but we plan a day for cousins gathering again. And please get the photos from me for our last dinner. And I'm blacklisted cos you didn't go and collect your medicine!

Till then, seeya!
