an oriental twist
Tuesday, August 22, 2006 .::.
I felt extremely restless during Front Office lesson, but nevertheless I made an effort to jot down most of the important things our dearest Mr. Foo mentioned in class. The whole class is just not paying and concentrating in class. Does he even realise that his lesson is simply so boring and the moment he opens his mouth, its like the Sentosa's old musical fountain? He even spit out some watermelon-like food leftover from his mouth onto my friend's bag. The sight was damn disgusting, we almost vomitted our lunch out. He's gross, very.

Anyway, tourism was as usual good with the knowledge flowing into our minds every minute and they are interesting, like attractions and all. (I bet many will like this subject) Housekeeping was in a very poor environment. Can you imagine having housekeeping lessons in a damn bar? And the room stinks like expired alcohol mixed with mould, algae, milk, fruits? Or maybe it's the toilet next door that caused it. The structure of the school sucks. Math was pretty relaxing, but the sums were quite tough I needed help for some questions even though some of those were learnt in secondary school. I forgot them all.

Then in the late-afternoon, went to collect the birthday cake from Pan Pacific for my mom and sis. Marina Square was super empty, and that's the time you can go out for shopping. No disturbance, no unsightly objects to your eyes. Wanted to buy the durian puffs from the hotel but it comes with a minimum purchase of 6, and I only wanted 2 so I didn't buy. And the freaking Pan Pacific teddy bear which is about 20cm in height costs 18 bucks. What the... So expensive! Paid up and went home. I was extremely careful with the cake because it was a box-carrier, not in a bag.

Okay, school till 12noon tomorrow. Am looking forward to it and hope time passes slowly on the way home and all the way till Thursday. Exams coming the week after, project due dates next week (left with Housekeeping half done) and no holidays to enjoy. Life in Shatec is sad, not luxury.

Last but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM (22nd) & SIS (23rd)!
