an oriental twist
Sunday, March 19, 2006 .::.
a sunday initially filled with hope and dream, but was all smashed up by those spring cleaning we had to do at the restaurant and getting in contact with the mop and a super dirty pail. fortunately, the pail was too dirty to get contact with. it was a dirty sunday morning though.

i couldnt wake up to the call of the alarm and continued sleeping like a log. realising that i will be late for work, i rushed my way through by running across the living room and the kitchen. showered as fast as possible and ate my breakfast while packing my mp3, wallet and stuff. i made my way to the train station using my poor pair of legs and it was hurting like shit. with my determination, i made it! haha, anyways i wasnt late.

breakfast served was slow, maybe because its a sunday. but the closing was fast with fast-workers like me. those foreigners love to sit aside and chat non-stop. they seem to have endless topic to discuss about, must be gossiping and bitching.

met up with maine supposedly at 2.15 and was late after having bubble tea, topping up ez-link and depositing cash. had lunch at far east which made us stink as if we came out from the food fair. erica got cheated by this trying-to-be-creative salon by paying fricking $32 for trimming her fringe and hair. the overall process she was most satisfied with was being served by a guy she thinks is handsome whose hand smells good. then we went to topshop, trying very hard to get pressie for ann. you know i hate shopping for gifts especially with budget and theres simply nothing good to get for a friend. i mean can the season just change for the better? all i see is the worst season of clothings ever man. bloody hell, where have all those fashion designers gone to and have been thinking? throwing in some beads and buttons make that thing cost over $50. thats total madness! can the world open up a store for selling all sorts of gifts so that it can make our lives easier when looking for a nice present? if there is such a store existing now, i will consider franchising it so that my life wont be miserable when buying a present.

anyway, i shant reveal what erica and i got for ann. and my sincerity is all in the present. my sweat and not my blood are all inside. climbing escalators and risking my life by crossing a road filled with tons of vehicles. mwahahaha.

went to cineleisure and shopped at the club 21 apple store. they sell the coolest things however the price is even cooler. i cant believe they sell 5 ipod nano "condoms" for $54. what the hell, this is like daylight robbery unless u love your nano so much you will risk your life to save it. then took cab to novena for dinner. it was quite a spread with japanese cuisine and i LOVE gyoza still as much. i wish someone can sponsor me with gyoza and tempura lifelong. haha. then to novena square for a little shopping and walking to digest the food we ate. the shops at novena square are terrible. i wonder if they are selling those old stock and thats why everywhere you go, you see SALE being pasted on the display panel. even 'Xccessories' there sell stuff at 50% off??? what the hell.

afternoon shift tomorrow like finally and exam on wednesday. 25 international cocktails, draw-lots from 2 selections for flambe and fruit carving. hope i dont die for the cocktail exam.
