an oriental twist

finally a day for me to settle down here and blog something. for the past few days, i wanted to blog so much until i didnt know what i want to type out here, thus i chose to close down the blogger window for something else. actually ive already lost the drive to blog and that i dont really like to blog as often now cos its damn boring. its like announcing what ive been doing and hows my life so far. as if anybody will care about me like parapazzi following up a superstar to dig up gossips.

anyways, im glad and pleased to share with you this piece of news that my 3-months attachment has ended just the day before. the whole thing came and went off in a blink of an eye. didnt expect it to end so fast when at first we were all thinking how we are going to survive this period. struggling with those plates and culteries, ask loads of questions before taking down orders. its been a good 3-months i guess. made lots of new friends, as well as enemies. those tails have been revealed to see the true colours and such. but overall, its been a tiring yet good attachment. so here goes another chapter of my life in shatec. for my practical exam, i had to do crepes suzette for my flambe, banana for my fruit carving and rusty nail for my cocktail. i can still remember the concoction for all the cocktails man. mwahahahahaha....

holidays just started today and hopefully those events planned are going on track. todays trip to pulau ubin with my friends was good but we all got drenched by the sudden downpour while having the adventure ride. i took me around an hour or so to reach bedok to meet them. it all started with taking 858 all the way to changi airport (the last time i went there was dec 2005) then transferred to the train to tanah merah and down to bedok. my walk pass changi airport, i saw this SIA cabin crew and control station office, it was filled with so many pilots using the computers at the stations to retrieve the flight data and stuff. air-stewardesses were seen walking gracefully with their uniform and luggage. im hoping that i can work at the airport or airline company in future after my studies though. haha, i mean why not?

oh yeah, back to the trip to pulau ubin. we met and took bus to changi village and had lunch there. the nasi lemak was damn good, especially the chicken wings which is damn crispy and hot! the bumboat ride was $2 and it was quite fun. fortunately i dont get seasick as i was enjoying the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. it was pretty cool. rented a bicycle and started the adventure. its a good place to have a bicycle ride with those sloppy roads, muddy lanes and stone-y pathways. left there at about 5 plus, had a light dinner back at changi village and home sweet home. the bus ride from changi to tanah merah sucks cos its way too long.

and before i end my blog entry, HAPPY HOLIDAYS to those who are still having theirs and thats about it.
