an oriental twist

semester one is coming to end after the exam next week. really cant believe that ive managed to survive in that school for five months, initially, thinking that i might lose interest in the course. however, the people all around somehow brought little motivation and interest made me want to learn more about the course. even though the things i thought i will be learning before i enter the school were just pure management stuff, but it was slightly different. not just learning how to manage the hotel itself. things like wines, services, beer, cocktails etc are something thats really worth to learn.

immediately after the holidays will be work attachment whereby we dont earn a single cent. i guess everyone will start work happily for the first few days or hopefully weeks but start slacking after knowing that no sense of satisfaction will come at the end of the month which means hardwork will not be paid off. but of course, it might be a good learning experience in a "live" food and beverage outlet, not considering the training restaurant in school which serves very little use. to be bitchy enough to say this, from there you can see how real people are including friends. all the tails will start sticking out and waving from side-to-side.

anyways, the past few days just flew away and i almost cant remember what exactly happened. things like where i place my notes, which lessons are optional for revision etc. sometimes its like im getting senile or what. okay whatever, im not as old. oh yes, before i forget tomorrow will be the principles of cooking practical exam. pray my partner and i will cooperate and not overcook the spaghetti, fry the french beans until it turn yellow or burn the chicken. but i hope some pest or irritating rats will not steal our soup for "colouring" or whatever shit excuses they are going to give. i will report to the teacher if you ever dare to come and trying stealing my food! muahahahahah. oh wells.

my creative dessert design was simple but caught the attention of the teacher. bet he loves it. i scored a distinction for it maybe because the design was toooooo exquisite and elegant (like yah.. rrright...). but true enough to say that its really simple but looks good. i gave a name of "second december" as i ran out of names. mr chan asked for a better name so i gave it "barley". it looks exactly like the barley plant but it all sticked together that kind of thing. nevermind i will show it to whoever wants to see it. haha.

no activities till sunday to have a nice lunch or dinner with my family for my birthday. i will update on my celebration with my family. then starting revision as soon as possible. ooooh, time comes and flies. very quickly.

hello there. welcome!
you are now browsing through the entries where the author captures every single moment of his life. it may not be anything simple and neither will be it too extravagant. the entries are made up of his family, friends and people around. you may just be one of those who can help continue to keep this blog moving on. thank you and have a nice day.

your welcome writer
