school started after 3 good days of rest. the downpour in the morning was wrong cos if it had rained for the past few days, i will definitely have a good nice sleep. oh wells. so the feeling back to school was a little weird though. like everyone was a stranger to me. i really dont know how the hell this feeling came to me.

finally chewing some cheaper candies in class. mentos lime and orange. it was just as good as chewing lackerol. highlighting notes like theres never an end to that chapter. teacher finally voiced out her true words. shes been really patient with the class till today when she sort of got pissed off and almost picked people out of the classroom. restaurant showmanship was cancelled. principles of cooking was doing consomme and pilaf rice. the choking curry was said to be not-very-nice. pilaf rice was good. i only ate one-third of a tablespoon.

bought packets of chips to class and shared among all. class ended not long after the little picnic we had. then rushed out to take a cab.we had to drop at raffles the plaza for dinner but the cab uncle didnt know where it was. it was damn funny when all of us in the cab almost died after explaining and telling the uncle the name etc. he first stopped at raffles city shopping centres entrance, then he made a huge turn to raffles hotel and finally we reached raffles the plaza. however, when we told him we needed to turn into the entrance, the uncle went into the wrong turn and almost went into the carpark. oh mans, we nearly died cos after a long long explanation. what he knew was raffles the plaza = westin (this was the former name). sigh.

shopped a little and they went to get miss korean, nam soo yeons birthday present. oh yeah, this little shop at raffles city beside the convention centre sells exquisite wooden display toy items. its super expensive. a small papercut designed thingy costs 10 over dollars. but the things inside are damn nice. another thing was this store selling those coloured designers glassware attracted me. they look so beautiful and oh my, i will buy one if i have spare cash. this birdie glass display is damn nice. the price is quite reasonable though.

bought the huge chicken pie from thos sb at raffles the plaza. the staff there suck all along. i am going to make a complain tomorrow and keep grumbling. its been thrice i think i met with the same service, same person, same suckers attitude. there was a one-for-one promotion and i got the thos sb cheesecake. looks pretty good.

then was given a wonderful dinner treat today. all thanks to the months ago birthday girl, erica chua. we've been rather close after the dinner at rosette conducted by the school as part of course-tutor interaction session in semester one part one. she was highly recommending the amazing dim sums at sze chuan court at raffles the plaza. so she treated us to that for dinner. those dan dan mian was something unique, the char siew items were super shiok, my all-time favourite prawn dumpling is always the best dish on the table, the famous delicacy soup dumpling was extremely nice. we had lots more food. anyways, this dinner was special in the sense that its dim sum and it was a birthday appreciation treat.

went shopping around and i went over to raffles hotel myself to ask if they have the refill for my raffles hotel travel diary notebook. anyways, raffles long bar is damn happening. the ambience was good and the music was great. i almost dance to the rhythm when i walk past. haha, funny. its a good place to relax after a days work.

back home first cos i was coughing nonstop and felt tired. long day today and tomorrow. hope tomorrow will be something nice for charmaines bbq party. dont know what will be happening tomorrow with some unknown people like friends and families. but just enjoy myself to the max and guess that will be great.

time to log off. the chain that singtel sends to my mom costs holy 19bucks. unbelievable crap. and singapore hit awards was good too. i could feel the happiness of the winners and the madness at suntec. im going again in 2006 since my last in 2003. hurhur. all alone perhaps cos its always best to shut up and concentrate.
