an oriental twist

the internet is finally okay after calling starhub. anyways, im sure to say that many must be so glad that im back on msn. seeing the lack of my presence online made you feel so uncomfortable right? heh, im just keeding.

so friday was an eventful day. morning lessons cancelled. showmanship doesnt involve me until next week and principles of cooking was fast. finally i remembered to buy some chips and biscuits to class for our weekly picnic. helped teacher during poc which was good cos i think its the simplest lesson ever conducted. then all of a sudden charmaine called. we are going to meet, i was pretty excited though upon hearing. haha, whatever it is, HAPPY SWEET 17 my dearie cousin. its been so many times ive been saying sweet 17 and i think its time to change. like honey 17 or something like that? cos its all too sweet, but pray hard i dont get a bitter or sour one. hurhur.

and the reason why i ended up at city hall was because i shared cab with some of my friends. went to thos sb to get my stuff. got 2 bottles of kaya from raffles hotel and 1 walnut french loaf. its called tiger something. then i rushed off to meet ann and erica at cineleisure. watched the exorcism of emily rose. it was damn exciting plus gross. after watching, ann kept shouting one two three four five SIX!!! madness cos that was what the demon said. this movie is really good. the 3am and burning smell kept me thinking last night. it was super eerie.

they played a few rounds of pool and we went off. we took photos as we walk along orchard road and went to indochine. i must admit that i was bloody amazed by the walkway in. i felt like a star. haha, more like a cheap superstar. oh wells. the music was good just that it repeated. played the five ten game, i find that sometimes it can be a sabotaging game. quite fun though. live band was not bad, i love the songs. then was forced onto the dancefloor when i stood aside with maine fearing that we will be the laughing stock. renhan and jialiang moved to the rhythm, erica and ann were sooo enthu. haha. it was good, really good experience. stayed till 2 plus and went home with maine and renhan while the rest stayed to wait for ruiqing and friends.

ann and erica: i might have spoilt yesterday night for leaving early cos i had to go to school the next morning. however, i promise we will have more of this, preferably on saturday night. thanks alot for the fun and dances.

maine: happy birthday and hope you have enjoyed yourself alot. sorry if renhan felt a little out of place when hes with us. i'll try to make everyone particpate in future. thanks alot. it was a good experience though.

btw, looking back a year ago. we had our interview at marriott and great to have met such a great manager. time really flies man.
