an oriental twist
Saturday, November 19, 2005 .::.
hey everybody im back from the busy week. sort of a busy week for me, but well im glad i can come back and share some silly tales with some of my loyal fans. but i guess after the not-blogging days, my fans would have already gone for another superstar. haha. anyways, its been a really busy week for me other than just studies itself.

and as you know my class' theme party event is coming right up next thursday and as part of the committee members, i feel a little stressed up. with those silly competitors from the other class who are doing "white christmas". i mean by looking at the poster my class has done compared to the other class, we are at the losing end. but not as much though. whatever it is, its always the wow-factor that we have to give to excel the party.

alright, back to some daily matters. for the past one week ive been doing this. wake up-school-study-home-tv-sleep. its damn routined. nothing so special about my school life, just that some results from semester one part one are out. i did pretty well. like B and above for the current ones ive gotten. distinction for fnb operations. mwahahaha. satisfied with the results ive got through my hardwork. but how i wish if this can continue for the rest of the days in school.

oh yes, my money is flowing out like water. recently ive spent quite alot on food and stuff. i think i should change my guess wallet to some cheaper ones like how i used to in secondary school cos in secondary school, i can swear that im always rich. not even once my wallet was empty. but look at it now, topping up my ezlink, food, sweets, chips and whatever. okay just sharing something out of my blog topic but related to money. i am always wondering why people who already dont have much money still wants to borrow money from people to take cab. i mean you already know that you have not much money and your cash flow is super tight, and you are lazy to take some cheaper transportation so you decided to borrow money from people and take cab. oh wells, nevermind.

okay, back to what i was tallking about. about... school! yes. ive gotten my results and the weeks been busy for me. and the things ive done from monday to thursday, ive totally forgotten about it. so i shall just update with what happened on friday.

school was long, super duper long. i finally changed my highlighter cos we highlight millions of lines in the quality service book. restaurant showmanship was good. i did a fantastic self-created dessert design. i smashed the mangoes while cutting it. i almost got burned by the fire when someone was doing the lobster bisque using the flambe. thats about it. principles of cooking was doing some coleslaw making, roasting a chicken, some potatoes and some simple of frying kailan. haha, like what the hell is kailan doing in western cuisine.

i think my number will be blacklisted in the smrt's cab services. ive been calling to book a london cab to bring us to east coast for so many times. we changed the time thrice i think. and in the end, we got the pink london cab. haha. the seats are so hard and uncomfortable and the jam almost killed me. sheesh.

dinner at a japanese restaurant. the food was good. the rest of them were doing their quality service project. another thing to add on. the seaweed fries from mcdonalds tastes good. guess the ingredients are bits of seaweeds and loads of msg. after dinner, went to esplanade for awhile. its so boring there. then we walked to the fullerton hotel. settled down at the courtyard and relaxed. its damn comfortable and i was making a joke out of it. i said i am going to sleep here since the sofa is so comfortable and if someone asks me where did i stay last night, i will reply the fullerton hotel. alright, its pretty lame. ordered the dessert platter and capuccino. the new york cheesecake is not as nice and the light champagne is not very nice. i love the chocolate cake, tiramisu, kueh lapis which was served with the cappucino, sorbet and the creme something. the taste is very special and smells fragrant. we left at about 12am.

anyways, the christmas celebration is not making any progress and ive done my part. haha, i totally broke this time and hopefully by christmas i would have already saved a huge sum of money for celebration. okay, its time for me to take my leave after so much blabbering here. im damn tired. and ive got exams on tuesday and oh shit. wednesday and thursday might suck.
