an oriental twist

time for an update. counting wednesday, thursday and today, i shall blog whatever i can. im hearing my bed calling for me.

so wednesday was making a fool out of myself at the graduation day. it was a long long ceremony though at the mandarin ballroom. wearing that disgustingly coloured red-maroon vest, walking here and there in the ballroom, i felt im more like a clown. anyways, we served the sparkling wines at the end. the first half was just sitting there, watching students getting their awards and stuff, shangri-la chairmans speech etc. dead bored. finished at around 4 near 5, went home to revise for exams.

thursday was the exam. everything went smoothly, just that i prompted a couple of times to make sure that what ive done was what ive read. physics was about this rolling of a wooden cylinder down the ramp at different measurement points and time it. chemistry was the qualitative analysis. oh yes, i think the malay guy sitting next to me hates me. cos i took his bottle of distilled water and finished up everything, thinking that theres only one stupid bottle provided. i only realised like im about to finish my chem practical. oh wells, i just shut my mouth and placed my bottle of distilled water in the middle just in case he needs them.

and now i know the plight of getting in the first shift. bloody 8am until 1.30pm. however, the school was cool enough to play some dvds. shrek 2 and hitch. hitch is bloody boring and quite stupid, or maybe i was sooooo sleepy that i didnt focus and enjoy. anyways, shrek 2 was cool. i mean, the part near the end when they transformed back to their original self and also the moment sleeping beauty came out from the horse-carriage. she just fell onto the ground, still sleeping. oh how wonderful. then back home i had tuition at 5.30pm.

todays lesson was nice. i bought mcd breakfast to school and left the free fillet-o-fish for lunch cos i was too lazy to go out of school. quality service is still so far so good, just that we always debate with the teacher about the lousy school facilities and the disappointment we have when we see the school. restaurant showmanship was damn interesting cos we did those designs at the side of the cakes. those you find in higher class restaurants. then principles of cooking was about making mayonnaise, vinegarette and hollandaise. tomorrow we will be doing it.

met mum and sis and mums friend at marina square. shopped around and had dinner. btw, the newly opened foodcourt at wisma is pretty nice. perfect for those who reminisces. its so like olden days singapore. damn cool. and the fried hokkien mee and fried oyster are damn nice. the long queue is inevitable cos its excellent.

ahhh..... boring weekends i have. im going to kill myself, or.. no. my partner will fry me tomorrow in the kitchen. time to go off. my bed is calling for me again. seeya later!
