an oriental twist
Monday, October 03, 2005 .::.
finally, i made a point to find some nice template to change for my blog. the ipod skin is getting a little out of fashion and lame. it looks clean but too simple for this era. like whatever okay, i prefer and like this more.

anyways, todays lessons were boring shit. the theory mis was hell cos i understood one out of a thousand things the teacher said. its all about computers and i was wondering why do we need to learn that? unplug and dismantle the entire pc set and then study each parts of the com. hardware.. software.. input.. output and all the nonsense. im a computer idiot. i need to seek help from my sis when my com hangs, at times btw. if not i will just shut down the whole com by swtiching off the swtiches. sigh. =( and worse was the theory part when we had to type this lame text out into words. bold the words, italise the words and underline them. shithead, its so stupid.

btw, i had tuition today and had a nice chat with my tutor at the last part of tuition. shes leaving for australia at the end of this year for her marriage. and we talked about her wedding. when we talk about wedding, what we usually say is always about where is it held, how much is a table of 10 persons and whatever. all those traditional chinese wedding is getting a little boring cos its always about giving angbaos, eat and drink till you drop at the ballroom, yam seng for thousands of times until you get sore throat, choosing the best seat so that you get to see the bride and groom walking down the aisle and standing on stage, slideshows or flash showing damn touching photos till everyone weeps, speech of thankfulness to their parents and whoever. all these are quite common for singaporeans wedding.

ericas sis is having her wedding at a beach, and from what i know its gonna be some sort of beach party wedding. very happening i guess. anyways, my tutors wedding will be held in australia. in the afternoon, she will have a chapel in a flowery garden with people sitting on the benches waiting for the bride and groom to walk down the aisle. its gonna be damn romantic. little cocktail and phototaking sessions. its something like those garden wedding you watch on tv shows. i mean, its really difficult to get such places in singapore. moreover the cost in singapore is much much higher than in australia. and her wedding dinner will be a westernised dinner at a slightly smaller ballroom. guess this should be some dream wedding that everyone is looking for. well, i guess next time when you get married, do something creative that will melt everyones heart. =)

anyways, i saw the new schedule for training restaurant (service). i will be having hell time cos most of the task are those i have never tried before. oh man, i will die there. plus, the damn school is being smart by taking us as FREE labour once again. we will be serving some drinks at meritus mandarin soon. however, its higher class and better than the one we did at singapore armed forces. and also, we have to go to the hotel on our own and back on our own. somemore, we have to wear the bloody service uniform which looks damn retarded. i thought we will be wearing the hotels uniform.

alright, time for me to log off. early lesson tomorrow at 8.15am. goodluck to me as its gonna be a long long day, inclusive of 2 hours tuition at night. bahhh.... hope Os will get over soon. and im not very prepared other than english.
