an oriental twist
Thursday, September 22, 2005 .::.
been neglecting my blog for a couple of days. holidays just slip through my fingers and i realised i havent been making use of it to revise, play and enjoy to the fullest. i accomplished none of it all, except for play. well of cos the trip to kuala lumpur was pretty good, which to a certain extent was to go there, shop, relax, eat and breathe in some fresh air. but it turned out to be polluted air. so here comes friday, a day everyones looking forward to but not me. school called us back few weeks ago to do service. we have to help at the outdoor catering event for singapore armed forces. hey, it sucks you know? you are spoiling the holiday!

couldnt make it for ktv today, so i remained staying at home, surfing the net which is so boring, tv that shows really good programmes. guess i will have to tell my mum and sis to change the discovery to star movies back again. travel and living doesnt show hotels and suites anymore, not very interesting nowadays without the previously mentioned programmes.

anyways pats going to kuala lumpur with xuehui. haha, we were discussing about the trip. and im telling her where to go, shop and yah, just walk around and explore. heres a list for you since you requested: (printer-friendly cos it only prints out black and green)

- Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) Twin Towers
- Suria KLCC (shopping mall inside the twin towers)
- Sungei Wang
- Lot 10
- Bukit Bintang Plaza (normally known as BB Plaza)
- Shi Chiong Gai (a very famous night market there)
- Times Square (the place you are staying, play at the theme park if you really have nothing to do)
- Menara KL Tower

because within 3 days, you have very limited time to do what you want. shopping at KLCC takes hours, the same for the rest. so, have lots of fun okay. things there arent as cheap compared to years ago. however, you can grab some cheap stuff at sungei wang area. the famous amos and auntie annes is damn cheap! eat kfc too, its nicer than singapore and far cheaper.

haha, pat was so amazed by the hotel shes staying cos its an all-suite hotel. oh man, its a good deal for her though. 3 days for only 160 and staying at a very nice hotel. have fun okay, you can wear sleeveless and walk around cos its damn hot and no one will look at you.

btw dad and moms wedding anniversary is coming this week. erm, should we get anything for them? but we dont really have this tradition whereby we buy them present for this day. perhaps a nice lunch or dinner will be enough. =)

and maine, this is a reminder for you. i called up marina mandarin today, AGAIN! and they say that the pastry will only be ready bloody next month! yucks, i rather you not to have renovations cos i really love the cakes and ice cream there. FIRST OCTOBER is the expected date they say the atrium lounge will serve cake items, and currently serving light snacks. bahhhh, i cant take it anymore. but i love no pan pacific cakes. =( erm, get the hams instead cos i was told its cheaper to get from the hotel. haha. oh yes, i feel like having dim sum. the last time i ate was a few months ago and now im targetting at somewhere else, even though dim sum tastes the same anywhere, just some are too soft that it tastes damn gross. *makes the vomitting face @#*O

alright, i guess its time to end this entry. slightly shorter than the previous, and im CHANGING to another site soon. cheers for tomorrow okay. blahh........... *sulks*

btw, i found this blog and it has got this nice entry. funny.

this situation happened when the teacher was going through japans industrialisation.

Teacher: Okay, today we're covering Japan's industrial rise. Who's been to Japan? *Some raise hands*

Teacher: Bryan! Okay, what do you have to say about Japan, besides that its full of pretty girls?

Bryan *Thinks* Oh, then nothing.

hello there. welcome!
