an oriental twist
Friday, August 12, 2005 .::.
days passed just as quickly as it is. they say that the day we are living in, is always longer than the previous day. however, at certain times of the day, theres this period where it passes damn slowly. especially boring lessons like beverages and grammar.

todays a friday. everything went in a blur, its just too fast for me to at least catch a last glimpse of it. anyways, lets start with wednesday, a pretty good and exciting wednesday.

wednesday was beverage, which killed me instantly. the video, which was supposed to be an entertainment but it failed to accomplish its mission. my eyes can just close automatically even without thinking of sleep. what the hell, but this gotta be damn true. we proceeded with italy and germany, and like ive mentioned in the past few entries i already had problems with france and french. digging words out of my brain dictionary to make up the correct pronounciation for the languages. its tough and im trying hard to understand what on earth is happening to the wines and champagne.

showmanships been the greatest teachings, despite the memorising of 25 intl cocktails which many failed to and made to copy 20 times. the practical was great, and we did cocktails that gotta do with wines and champagne. the taste just suck for the last few. i like the first one which tastes much like ribena, sweet but a little dry. got to try almost all, but not to the last few. people thought i was drunk because i talked way too much. but i wasnt, just that i clicked very well with this group of people. seriously, i wasnt drunk. just disgusted by a few drinks. stout and dont know what, its gross.

tuition at home at 6.45pm. my tutor was unexpectedly stylish. and i mean it this time, it surprised me with a tutor like that. a young chap, beach boy and up to fashion, not that im really up to fashion. stunned was the word to describe my expression when i saw him, as the past male tutors i met were either nerd or freaking com assholes. this one is very understanding, i hope. and pray the tutor doesnt run away anymore. this is the last lap to Os.

thursday was pretty good. on wednesday night, i rushed through with my food service management revision. a test on a thursday morning, which apparently spoilt the mood of everybodys. i managed to really read and remember the chapters, but i left out a few points, which i always do. and some were mere flipping through like what pat does when she has a test the next day, am i right pat? i miss you, pat. haha. =)

ctis will be off till the week after. had lunch at westmall with vernon, desmond, herman and brooklyn. the convos they usually have are near to a m18 thingy and i just kept quiet and listen. somehow, things they say are partly rubbish.

changed into the polo tee, did service today again. im in the pantry, preparing the foodstuff. cool, people in there are my favourites like vernon, nabilah and hui bing. had lot of fun inside with eating, fooling around and joking.

and home sweet home. i felt relieved and in a total relaxed mood. beverage class on friday morning was made optional, cos teacher said he wants to conduct tutorial as of requested by dont know which foreigner. and i can predict that not more than half the class will be there, everyones not going. i wanted to go, but knowing that lesser and those obedient students are ponning too, why not take a break too? its made OPTIONAL man.

thats about it for the day i guess. cant really add anymore details, this is too much to absorb for the day.

damn tired, have a good night sleep. a brand new day tomorrow! =)
