an oriental twist
Sunday, June 26, 2005 .::.
its time for me to blog. i havent blog for erm, 4 days? and i guess you must be so "eager" to know whats happening right? haha, thank you very much.

work work and work. it just started on saturday. pretty cool cos ive been slacking for days since my previous at snappers. i forgot what happened since thurs, so i shant blog anything. even if i were to blog, it will be rubbish. trust me. =)

kinda awaited for this work day to come. but i will start complaining, showing faces, yeah during work. not really, just SOMETIMES. err, so it started at 2pm. got my jeans done at citylink and went to work. while walking outside marina square, the one that faces the esplanade. yup, thats the one. i heard the saluting commands for ndp2005. its interesting. however, theres this bunch of chinese monkeys blocking my way to the hotel. shucks, i almost killed them. anyway, i heard the commands. thats about it, and i got excited.

briefing on hotel basics, vips, events and blah. im loving it sooo much. better than marriott cos this makes more sense. because, "We Are Ladies and Gentlemen Serving Ladies and Gentlemen", and trademark of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. whatever, it teaches many good things and sharing.

so work shot off after that. pool started to filL up with guests whom appreciate by dirtying that towel skirting, dumping newpapers and stuff on the pool deck. arrggh, anyhow, i managed to escape and got someone to do it for me. thanks! =) and the guests were amazed by the fighter jets that flew over the sky. some started smiling, some ran away cos the child cried, some took photos, some looked up and yah. it was for ndp05 rehearsal. it was blasting loud, trembled the place.

ran bubblebath at a kallang bay view room. the couple was feeling oh-so romantic and i SUDDENLY opened the bathroom french door. they got disturbed. sigh, just because i forgot the water temperature they wanted.

then at 7 plus, followed my collegue to another room and did the 2nd honeymoon bath. it has the following ingredients. rosebuds, which will be layed on the foam and around the bathtub area, strawberries and cream, champange and stuff. rcms' signature bath, it look damn cool for this one. romantic and nice and elegant and.. and rich and... and yah. its romantic. but it has a price to pay. $200 plus for one if im not wrong, dear uh. and we were followed by one gro. she speaks weird english btw. sounds funny.

went back, saw that disastrous swimming pool. HELP!! it was in a big mess, like some dinosaurs stepped in. cleared everything and finished.

another bubble bath. got the keys from front desk, went up, the room was showing "PRIVACY". something like "without further a do", i called my colleague. contacted the m-o-d, she came up and knocked and opened the door. and SURPRISE! it was the millenia suite. very big, living room, bedroom, big bathroom which included 2 sinks, shower room, bowl and bathtub. rised the blinds and looked out to marina square, marina mandarin and panpac. cars are moving right below. cool right? m-o-d was watching how i did. she knew me and i knew her. met her years ago when i was a hotel guest then. we spoke and we remembered each other. =)

rushed off to fitness centre, did close up and all in a hurry. it was late and dumped everything anyhow. and theres another 2nd honeymoon bath for a wedding couple at the hotels presidential suite, ritz-carlton suite. but i didnt get to go cos it might be after 1am. i heard the bathroom for rc suite is the size of the deluxe room bedroom, has a jaccuzi-sized bathtub with power jets. sounds exaggerating. im going there soon. haha. the wedding couple used to be working at the hotel. groom was the former director of s&m, bride was a.. i dont know.

alright, i should go off now. its time to sleep, working at 11am tomorrow. hopefully time passes quickly for me. and happy last day holiday for primary, secondary, jc students! have more fun tomorrow, one more week to mine. shucks. =(
