a happy mother's day to all mothers! i celebrated it yesterday with my family at swensens. suggested to go hyatt straits cafe, but it was fully booked.
anyways, i spent my weekends at home, other than the dinner last night. had tuition yesterday. recapped all the old topics for english. i only have a little impression with me. still trying to get the hang of it, but will try to know better than before.
todays cooling cos of the morning thunderstorm. starting work tomorrow at a brand new environment, new people, new jobscope, everythings new. i hope everyone will be like people in marriott. honestly, im starting to miss the poeple at marriott, especially those from pastry kitchen, cafe and all. haha, i used to complain, but i realised i miss them all.
had crab for dinner tonight. was fantastic cos i didnt have crab for a long time.
alright, i guess its time now for me to work hard too. everyones working hard now, no matter in school or at work. tests, exams, work and everything. they keep you busy, but you never realise how fast time actually flies. sigh, its already mid-2005 you know. but hey!time nowadays flies dont they?
this month is going to keep me busy. like work and tuition. dont really think i'll have the time to go out. shatec orientation on 30 june. hope to see some great familiar faces. and pray that i dont see any bengs and lians, cos that will be the worst thing.
by the way, im quite looking forward to my new job. if you are ever free, please come and visit me at the ritz carlton. im at level one, where the grand ballroom is located at. hope i will enjoy my work and training. but worse is, i will have my break all alone. shucks! but then again, i hope the manager will be so flexible and nice like irene tan. haha. hopefully.....
humming to the rhythm - come home soon
