an oriental twist
Saturday, November 20, 2004 .::.
haha, was really excited and happy this afternoon. was chatting about whether to get that limited edition nike shoe. erm, im not getting it. cos theres alot more coming out. moreover this is one, you dont get it when you are there. it depends on your lucky or unlucky luck. well, i think i shall wait for others to come out. and get the one i want.

anyway, the thing i was happy about this afternoon ONLY, was the hotel called me up. and we got the job. the 8 of us who went for the interview 1 week ago, GOT THE JOB!! haha, quite happy that i dont need to look for other places for positions. and now i get to work with the people i want. and yay!! i shall hold a celebration immediately after exams.

we will be working at different things though. but it starts immediately after everything for the rest except me. i only start after my birthday. haha, shall enjoy the break i have lor. but then, we are restricted from many things when we start to work, but moneys more important. shall earn what we can now, and use it for enjoyment later.

i was very happy again cos when all of us start working, we can go to work together, go for lunch together and go home together. haha, hopefully it will be fun and interesting than any other jobs. im sure it will but really tiring. long working hours, i guess.

todays msn damn quiet. theres not many people online lor. think alot already went for celebrations lor. as for people like me, or you who still have 1 or 2 or even 3 more papers to end your Os, they are surely studying at home right? haha, not including me lah. some only.

yesterday when i open up my wardrobe, i saw this 2 rubber balls. those that can bounce up and down when you throw on the floor or hit the wall. i forgot the exact name for it, but just name it as "balls". yup! i totally forgotten about it. anyway, these 2 rubber balls reminds me of very nice things. erm, its very special, you can grab on your palm at a "just right size", provided that your hand size is the same as mine.

okay, these 2 rubber balls, which can bounce up and down, jump like you and me, roll like those rolling pins and so on. i got them when i was er.... primary 5? yeah, got them in primary 5 when i was in hong kong for a holiday. and these 2 balls were bought from this really interesting cafe/restaurant called "RainForest Cafe". you know? we used to have one in singapores liang court, but was closed down i think.

anyway, the 2 balls are nice lah. and the restaurant was very nice. you can hear animals like tigers and lions roar, elephants blow their "trumpets", and many animals sounds lor. really great feeling, but no more in singapore. just went to the webby and found out that the one in hong kong was closed down too. sigh. should continue to open mah. but the food was quite expensive i think. but very special lor. need a "passport" to go into the cafe.

theres a link below, visit it when you have the time and curious to find out more about RainForest Cafe. www.rainforestcafe.com , a wild place to shop and eat!

alright, i got to go to watch tv. yeah, slacking time now. seeya soon and enjoy your long holiday!
